Dal Fry
INGREDIENTS
- Toor Dal 200 grams
- Tomato chopped 1 Nos
- Garam Masala 1 Teaspoon
- Cumin powder 1/2 Teaspoon
- Asafoetida 1 pinch
- Coriander powder 1 Tablespoon
- Red Chilli powder 2 Teaspoon
- Green chilli chopped 4-5 Nos
- Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
- Curd 2 Tablespoon
- Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
- Salt 1 Teaspoon
- Curry leaves 6 Nos
- Coriander leaves chopped 1 Teaspoon
- Water 3 cups
- Ghee 50 Grams
- Cardamom powder 1/4 Teaspoon
- Cinnamon powder 1/4 Teaspoon
- Cloves powder 1 Pinch
- Ginger Grated 1 piece
- Garlic crush 4 cloves
- Onion Grated 1 Nos
METHOD
- Cook dals in pressure cook till done.
- Mash well, add turmeric powder, salt and boil for 5 minutes.
- In a separate pan heat ghee, add cumin powder, asafoetida, curry leaves, green chillies, onion, garlic, ginger and cook for two-three minutes, add tomato and cook well, add remaining masala and curd.
- When the ghee comes on the top add dal mixture boil for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot.
